Healthy Relationships - Creating and

Maintaining Them!

One Day Workshop

Whatever our age, whether we’re single or married we’re all in relationships, be they work, friends, neighbours, siblings, parental or partner relationships.

And sometimes our relationships are not as we’d hoped they would be. Often our work relationships can be going well but our intimate relationship is going through a ‘rocky patch’. And that ‘rocky patch’ may have been going on for years!!

It can feel hopeless, like nothing will ever change, like this is ‘our lot in life’ and we may even reach a point where we feel like giving up.

But it doesn't have to be this way. Change is possible.

I offer a one day interactive workshop specifically designed for people who would like to see their relationships change, and are willing to work for that change.

During the workshop you will learn about:

  • Building healthy relationships
  • Developing good listening and communication skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Creating healthy boundaries in relationships
  • Establishing equality and respect in relationships

If you feel this workshop is for you, please contact me for course details and a registration pack.

Programmes

Self-Esteem and Assertiveness

Group Porgramme

Does it seem like people are always walking over you? Do you feel like others take advantage of you, and you’re the one who is always picked on? Do you feel like you never know what to say when someone challenges you, and when you try to stand up for yourself you either end up giving in, or losing your cool?  Does this sound like you?

Some people experience this at work, including being bullied by others.  For others it’s in their personal relationships.  Whichever way, their self-esteem and sense of worth is being beaten down, and often feels like their life is in tatters.

To help those who find themselves experiencing this (both men and women),  I offer an eight session group programme where participants have the opportunity to learn practical skills to assist in communicating in an assertive, healthy manner, as well as helping to begin to grow in their sense of self-worth and self-esteem. During the programme participants will work both individually and as a group, using this environment to put into practice the assertiveness tools and skills they learn through the programme.

Some of the topics explored in the programme are:

  • Characteristics of assertiveness and other communication styles
  • Modelling and development of communication styles
  • Affirmations of self and others
  • Identifying, managing and expressing emotions in a healthy manner
  • Developing good listening , communication and conflict skills

If you’re looking to grow in self esteem and create a more assertive way of communicating then this programme may well be for you.
